Lunch, dinner and afternoon tea and a walk in the rain

Over the past few weeks we have been raising money to fund our trip.  We've prepared food for college to keep ourselves going during pastoral training on Wednesday afternoons, held afternoon teas at a couple of chapels, swapped smarties for change, made cards and walked 10K in the rain and been very successful in raising funds.  We have also benefited from some very generous donations from a number of different sources.  A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has contributed to our total - we really appreciate your generosity.

Bound for India...

At the end of August this summer, three students from South Wales Baptist College, with their tutor Dr Karen Smith, will be travelling to Kolkata, India, with BMS World Mission.

Ali, Michelle and Nicola, with Karen, hope to visit a variety of projects including a mobile school for children from the slums and seeing how the organisation Free-Set is supporting women who are vulnerable to human trafficking along with visiting local churches.

It will be an exciting and challenging visit.  Please be praying for us as we prepare to go.
